It is even rare to find any admission that the creature is guilty of only two deliberate crimes: framing Justine and murdering Elizabeth. Yes, they both use modified helicopters from time to time, are rich in their secret identities, have capes, and no superpowers to speak of, but that about ends it. Conall starts off on a journey of vengeance with a band of young followers, most not much older than children. It achieves the feat of offering an exhaustive genealogy of the significance of "blood" in Western civilization, thereby pulling blood into an urgently needed visibility. I’m mad at Blythe because she sets up the wrong and manipulated man for Holly. I have to be honest, I'm not a huge fan of romance novels, but after reading Servants of Twilight, I figured I'll give Lightning a try.

Volume 6 covers the final years of Delany's life, and includes a copy of her will.
