In the stark prose of man against nature, Mills frames this tale with the nobility of intent, yet lays the groundwork for a mind-bending twist that stops the reader cold.

Bought this book for my daughter's second grade class. The kids loved it. The rhymes are super fun for parents and teachers to read, and the illustrations reward staring--bright and painterly. A good buy....
