Although he does challenge and sometimes discredits a number of myths and legends, the lack of scientific or statistical rigor again make it hard to accept some of his generalizations. Barney Hatton, the disposessed heir of Mortiboys, loved her but not enough. Callihan definitely took her time with these characters which is much appreciated. The story was filled with tons of drama and twists but the twists were a bit far fetched for me. I recommend Martin Seligman, the original optimist. The thing that bothers her most is not actually Alex, but the way he makes her feel. It is an older book, but I still really enjoyed it. Curated by National Book Award-winning author Jesmyn Ward and dedicated to Trayvon Martin, it’s an anthology divided into three parts: Legacy, Reckoning and Jubilee. Structure deals correctly.
