A stupendous job of reporting. I hate that there is a cliffhanger but it's not that bad. This story involves the usual handsome but unsuitable men that catch Agatha's eye and may even be involved in some of the gruesome deaths happening.

I love all the characters - a husband and wife both vets, as well as all their friends and pets, especially Rags the klepto kitty who helps solve cases. The photorealistic, mixed-media illustrations have a flat feel, but the characters expressive faces bring some emotional depth. Like that he’s had a crush on Teague for as long as he’s had crushes. And perhaps one of the reasons why The Seven Realms just soared above and beyond its peers was due to the tremendous characterization Chima employed. This 450 page book, which is divided into 14 chapters covers the publishing process from the manuscript stage to the sales stage with competence, and most importantly, does not make promises or guarantees of author success. If the people who published this would enlarge the print and center the text, I would definitely want to read it. He examines and provides a penetrating critique of these worldviews and shows how they have ushered in the current societal crisis. Tu-Ky Lam has been training, researching, writing and teaching Taiquan for over 15 years. I purchased the Kindle edition recently to have on hand as a reference for some of the exercises he walks through. There is an excellent balance to the story between John's life with his family and friends, internal musings, medical knowledge and information, and the drama and suspense of the investigation. Clearly, more will be revealed later.
